Since November 2000 I've been an independant SAP Technical Consultant implementing SAP solutions for large manufacturers, chemical companies, public sector entities, and large Retail & Fashion companies. Prior to that I spent 3 years as a Principal Basis Administrator at Rockwell Collins, Inc. I also used to be the Technical Team Lead for the Avionics & Communications Enterprise Email Team, where I was charged with coming up with good technical solutions in our Lotus Notes environment, and specifically integrating multiple Notes rollout projects from a technical perspective. We migrated 15,000 users from 12 different mail systems into Notes in our division alone, participating in a corporate wide implementation to over 65,000 users. At the time, it was one of the largest Notes implementations in the world.

In 1995 & 1996, I worked as a Porting Center Unix System Administrator at Synopsys. I was resposnible for over 100 systems comprised of 12 Unix platforms and supported the Release Engineering team, who ported all the Synopsys software to those platforms. During 1995 & 1996 I was also moonlighting as a part-time System Administration Consultant for DataPath Systems, Inc. where I was responsible for network physical and logical infrastructure, server configuration, software build & installation, printer installation & configuration, and generally anything else of a technical nature that came up.

In 1994, I graduated from the College of Engineering at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I was also the Managing Editor of the Kansas State Engineer magazine. From 1992 to 1995, I worked in the Department of Nuclear Engineering as a System Administrator on an IBM RS/6000 320H and the department Xterms. While working for the NE Department, I also helped support the College of Engineering's network of Suns, HP9000's, Xterminals, and PC's.
